Wedding ceremonies
Wedding ceremonies are held in the ceremonial rooms of the burgrave’s residence. Participants are allowed to come to the upper car park close to the castle and two cars to the castle, before the 2nd castle gate.
The entry into the wedding hall is directly from the main courtyard of the castle (ideal capacity of the hall is 35 persons, but also more).
In the courtyard and on the access road there usually is a lot of visitors. We recommend to obey istructions the municipal police and security agency of the castle.
Wedding ceremonies are usually held on Fridays and Saturdays while the castle is open for public and all the details of organization should be discussed with registrar, Mrs. Eva Cůbrová, of the Karlstejn municipal office:

Prices for weddings are as follows:
- 1 citizen from Czech Republic and 1 foreigner (or without a permanent residence in the CR):
10 000,- CZK

Possibility of taking place of the wedding ceremonies in the other places of the castle:
1) in the Hall of Ancestors, interior of the 1st Guided tour - in the evening time, after the departure of the last visitors. Dates: Fridays and Saturdays. Price of ceremony : 20 000,-CZK
2) in the exterior between Marian and the Great Tower - open air marriage, on Fridays and Saturdays during the opening hours of the castle for public. Price of ceremony: 20 000,-CZK
