You can buy your ticket for the tour of the castle of Karlstejn by internet by this link:
Information for visitors
We ask the visitors to stay with the guide during the whole tour and follow the guide´s instructions. It is prohibited to touch any exhibits, paint on the walls or damage the buildings in any other way.
It is prohibited to take photos and make video recordings inside the castle.
Services for visitors:
- After the tour, the visitors can visit the souvenir shops on the courtyard and in the Červenka (a shop housed in the building where the tour ends), and in the Clock Tower and the Well Tower.
- There is also a refreshment buffet on the courtyard.
- There is coin minting performed on the grounds of the castle.
- 100 meters from the main castle gate, you can visit a wax museum exhibiting a wax statue of Charles IV and his four wives as well as many other famous people of the Czech history.

- Photography and video recording are prohibited in the interiors of the castle

- Charged-for central parking in the village of Karlštejn, approx. 2 km from the castle.

Train, bus, aircraft
- You can go by train from Prague (train station SMICHOV - TUBE B), direction BEROUN. The way is 45 minutes long. From the station of Karlstejn it is 30 minutes to go by foot to the castle.
- Bus connection - not available. The bus-line form Prague goes to the near village Morina (2 km from the castle)
- The way from airport Prague - Ruzyne to the Karlstejn castle is 32 km long only.
