Castle Karlštejn is from year 1993 situated at the Castle Road, a holiday route which connects more than 90 castles and palaces in Czech Republic and Germany. The Castle Road is about 1200 km long and leads from the “Golden City” of Prague to Mannheim and thereby touches internationally well-known destinations as Bayreuth, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Heidelberg.
